Stade Seaport
The tide-independent Stade Seaport is situated between Cuxhaven and Hamburg. Due to its proximity to the North Sea and to the Kiel Canal, the port is strategically very well located.
The port is divided into two areas (the northern and the southern port). In the northern port, bulk goods of all kinds can be transshipped at the various berths. In the southern port, three quays are available to tank shipping for the transshipment of chemicals and gases.
Due to the locally based industry, the port is one of the busiest transshipment ports in Lower Saxony and also promises high growth potential in the future through planned port expansions.
